Watchman Villas
Springdale, Utah is home to a number of hotels — including beautiful Cliffrose Lodge, another Vibrant property. But a vacation rental is a great choice for extended stays, larger families, or those who want more of the comforts of home while away.
The Watchman Villas property is home to five individual villas, each with its own unique amenities and features.
The Aspen
Traveling with a larger family or group of friends who need a little more space? The Aspen is a great choice. This villa features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has over 1,300 square feet of indoor living space and a whopping 1,500 square feet of outdoor space.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed as well as an en-suite bathroom with a large soaking tub and a separate shower. In the guest bedroom, you’ll find two queen-sized beds as well as a second en-suite bathroom with a combined shower and tub. An in-unit washer and dryer make it easy to wash any dirty hiking clothes. The full kitchen and dining room allows you to enjoy a home-cooked meal or maybe a family board game night during your stay. Outside, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Zion that you can enjoy from the outdoor living room and dining table.
The Pinyon
The Pinyon is a second two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa. This accessible unit also features a full kitchen, dining table, and living room with a pull-out couch. The en-suite master bathroom has an accessible roll-in shower, while a separate soaking tub and shower are located in the en-suite bathroom attached to the guest room. Also in the guest bedroom is a wet bar area with a sink, mini-fridge, and microwave. This unit features a smaller private patio area for guests to enjoy as well as a washer and dryer.
The Maple
The final two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa is called The Maple. Similar to The Aspen, this villa features two bedrooms. This includes a master bedroom with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a separate soaking tub and shower. In the two-queen bed guest room, you’ll also find a separate soaking tub and shower, in addition to a wet bar area.
In the living room, you’ll enjoy a full kitchen and dining room, as well as a pull-out sofa to sleep additional guests. The villa has a private balcony perfect for sipping your morning coffee and taking in the views.
The Juniper
Watchman Villas is also home to two smaller units. Both are ideal for families or couples looking to plan a romantic getaway. The Juniper features a master bedroom with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a separate soaking tub and shower. In the living area, a full-kitchen and dining table make it easy to enjoy some home-cooked meals. There’s also a pull-out sofa to sleep additional guests, as well as a private balcony.
The Willow
The Willow features the same layout and amenities as The Juniper. But this ground-floor unit features a large outdoor patio and private grassy area for guests to enjoy. While not ADA-accessible, this unit can accommodate wheelchairs. Both one-bedroom villas feature over 850 square feet of living space, so you’ll have plenty of space to relax after a long day of hiking and exploring.
The Location
Watchman Villas’s spacious units and numerous amenities might tempt you to spend your entire getaway staying in. But if you decide to get out and explore, you’ll find no shortage of attractions just outside your door.
During much of the year, access to the lower canyon of Zion National Park requires visitors to hop on a shuttle. Because the lower canyon is home to many of the park’s most popular overlooks and trailheads, if you’re visiting the park when the shuttle is in operation, you’ll need to plan ahead to catch it. Staying at Watchman Villas makes this easy. With a shuttle stop just steps away from your villa, you can hop on the Springdale Shuttle and easily transfer to the Zion Canyon Shuttle without having to worry about finding parking.
While Zion is Springdale’s most notable attraction, the town itself offers plenty to see and do. Dine in one of the many restaurants, shop for souvenirs, or browse one of the many art galleries the town is known for. Bryce Canyon National Park, as well as a number of beautiful Utah state parks, is also a short drive away and makes for great day trips during your stay.
