One of the biggest questions that guests have when booking a stay at an all inclusive fishing lodge is what it costs to book a package, and what the cost of their package includes.
As the name suggests, all inclusive fishing trips from Sointula Lodge include any and all costs associated with your stay. But what does this really mean? Let’s break down what an all inclusive fishing lodge package really includes, and what additional costs you’ll need to cover.
Luxurious Accommodations
One part of your all inclusive fishing lodge package is your stay itself! When you book a Fishing or Wilderness Tour package with Sointula Lodge, you get a luxurious, intimate stay on our 38-acre, historic property. Our boutique lodge features space for just 18 guests at a time. This guarantees a low-key, intimate experience during your stay.
Guests enjoy private accommodations in our modern, rustically-decorated cabins. We have a variety of room layouts to cater to different groups. This includes solo travelers, families, friends, business partners, and more. Each room features a private bathroom, as well as any linens and other items you’ll need for relaxing at the end of a long day on the water.
Start your morning relaxing outside of your cabin and taking in the stunning views of the early morning fog rolling off the water, and walk straight to a hot, delicious breakfast at the main Lodge.
Delicious Meals
Speaking of breakfast, all of your meals are also included in your all inclusive package. But if you’re expecting cold sandwiches while on the water or hot dogs grilled over a fire for dinner, think again.
Sointula Lodge isn’t your standard, rustic fishing lodge, especially when it comes to food. Delicious, chef-prepared four-course dinners are often a highlight of guests’ experiences. You’ll enjoy a variety of locally-sourced ingredients, including plenty of fresh-caught seafood. But don’t think that lunch will be any less delicious.
One day of your trip, you’ll enjoy a visit from our unique, almost-famous Burger Boat. The boat will meet you on the water and whip up delicious burgers and more to enjoy without having to lose a minute of time on the water. On another day of your trip, you’ll enjoy our gourmet Beach Bistro. You’ll meet our chef and other team members for a beach picnic on a remote island. Dine on freshly boiled crab, wine, and more, while enjoying some incredible views.
Of course, you’ll also start your day with a filling breakfast perfect for giving you the energy you need to battle salmon on the line and stay fueled until that day’s delicious lunch! Alongside each day’s meals, all of your drinks, from a morning coffee to evening wine, are included as well.
Fully-Guided Fishing Excursions and Gear
One of the best parts of booking all inclusive fishing trips is the chance to enjoy some British Columbia fishing with the help of an experienced guide. Not only does this mean hitting the best fishing holes, but also means that all of the gear you’ll need, from rods and reels to bait and tackle, is included. For guests, this means no worrying about finding the right gear or packing it for their trip.
After a long day of fishing, the last thing you probably want to do is clean and prep your day’s catch. Don’t fret; this is included in the cost of your all inclusive package as well. While you head back to your room to shower, change, or just relax before dinner, our staff process and package your catch. Then, at the end of the trip, your fish is packaged in insulated wax boxes for you to take home.
Lodge Amenities and Activities
While you’ll no doubt want to spend a lot of time on the water each day, you’ll have plenty of options for spending your downtime at the Lodge as well. Relax in the hot tub, or visit our sauna. Hop on a bike and explore the island. Visit with our resident herd of alpacas. Enjoy a campfire at the dock while doing some star gazing. All of your activities and the Lodge’s amenities are included in the price of your package.
What Costs Aren’t Covered in an All Inclusive Fishing Lodge Package?
Your all inclusive fishing lodge package includes nearly every aspect of your stay at Sointula Lodge. The only additional costs guests need to worry about are their transportation to and from the lodge, their British Columbia fishing license, which you can get online ahead of your trip, and tips for our wonderful staff!
