“Trip of a Lifetime”
After enjoying one of our 4-day packages with their family, this reviewer raved about the peace and beauty they enjoyed at our Lodge, as well as our incredible staff:
“Just returned from a magnificent, luxurious fishing trip at [Sointula Lodge]
We spent four days and three nights on remote Malcolm Island living in one of the fabulous, lovely log cabins. Very early morning rise and ten hours on the water but it was worth every moment. It wasn’t just about fishing, it was the peace, the total relaxation, the stunning scenery, being at one with creation and experiencing a total spoiling at [Sointula Lodge]. I highly, highly recommend Sund’s Lodge and the amazing staff and owners…who went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely amazing.” -Tripadvisor review
“Bucket List”
If a fishing excursion to the remote and beautiful waters of British Columbia isn’t already on your bucket list, it certainly should be. This reviewer certainly enjoyed their own bucket list-worthy visit:
“[Sointula Lodge] goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Visiting [Sointula Lodge] should be on everyone’s bucket list. The relaxed, calm, fun atmosphere is a trip of a lifetime. The rooms are cozy, the food is awesome and the great fishing guides as well as all the employees at [Sointula Lodge] are there to make sure your visit turns out perfect every day…Thanks [Sointula Lodge] for an incredible vacation. I hope to return again one day.” -Tripadvisor review
“Best Family Vacation Ever”
On the fence about whether a visit to Sointula Lodge is the right choice for your family? This reviewer raved about the experience his family of four, including a preteen and a teenager, had during their stay. From the attention to one family member’s dietary restrictions to catching a box full of delicious fish to take home, this will no doubt go down as a favorite family trip:
“Headed up for a few days this past week with my husband, 12 yr old son and 15 yr old daughter. The lodge is under new management, and while it was a great experience two years ago, it’s even better now! The new owners have updated furnishings and fishing gear, held onto the majority of their amazing staff, and have invested themselves in the local community. The service level here is exceptional – from gourmet meals to family-friendly guides, and staff that are truly there to make sure our experience was amazing. The staff are truly happy and love being here! My daughter has a lot of dietary restrictions and they ensured that every meal was slightly modified so that she didn’t have to worry about it! Opening day of Chinook season, we limited out, as we did the second day! Brought home a cooler and two boxes loaded with salmon and a couple of halibut.” -Tripadvisor review
